NBA DFS DraftKings.com & FanDuel.com Lineups & Picks for April 11, 2018

For the 4/11/18 NBA DFS slate, the final slate of the regular season, we look at the games with playoff implications on DraftKings and FanDuel. The info below can also be used when crafting your strategy on FantasyDraft.

There are six Western Conference teams playing this Wednesday for playoff seeding and two (Minnesota and Denver) battling for the final postseason spot. New Orleans and San Antonio also play for playoff seeding as does Utah and Portland.

These games can essentially be treated as playoff games, while the other nine games on the final slate of the regular are more or less a crap shoot.

The three games beginning at 10:30 EST tonight are not available on FanDuel, streamlining decisions a bit.

Please note the advice below is relevant for daily fantasy purposes. A player or team might be better or worse from a fantasy perspective than in real life due to matchup, price, and lots of other factors. This is important to consider when constructing a roster.

Injuries play a huge role in NBA DFS on a nightly basis, and on the final night of the season, tons of players could see limited minutes or sit out entirely. Value plays on the various daily fantasy sites can arise at a moment’s notice and few players are truly reliable, so Always, always check the starting lineups and injury news right before tipoff.

NBA DFS Slate Breakdown for April 11, 2018

Denver Nuggets (+3) at Minnesota Wolves (Over/Under – 213)

Of the three games with playoff implications tonight, this one is clearly the most significant since the loser will be eliminated.

The Nuggets bested the Wolves in a game with similar significance last week despite a subpar game from Nikola Jokic ($10.6k, $11.5k), who has since dropped two monstrous double-doubles to lead his team. He’s a fantastic player to pay up for given his floor-ceiling combination.

Karl-Anthony Towns ($10.1k, $10.6k) is also in line to bounce back after fouling out in Denver last week and he’s been extremely reliable all year. That said, he’s probably third as far as raw points at the Center position.

With Gary Harris (knee) back but playing limited minutes, Will Barton ($7.3k, $7.0k) remains the Nuggets primary option on the perimeter. However, you might want to fade him with Jimmy Butler ($7.4k, $7.8k) available to partially shore up the Wolves struggling defense. Butler is a longshot GPP play in the hopes that Wolves HC Tom Thibodeau plays him 30-plus minutes in a desperation move.

Jeff Teague ($7.2k, $7.4k) has really ramped up with Butler limited and he makes for a great option against a Nuggets team that’s giving up the fifth-most PPG (111.46) and APG (26.41) over the last month. On the other side of the ball, Jamal Murray ($6.4k, $6.9k) is a relative value on DK in a plus matchup.

Wilson Chandler ($4.7k, $4.7k) is a solid value to consider as one of the Nuggets most consistent contributors and Taj Gibson ($5.6k, $5.6k) could be both lightly owned and very productive if he can battle through a neck injury in this do-or-die spot.

San Antonio Spurs (+3.5) at New Orleans Pelicans (Over/Under – 211.5)

While the Spurs are fighting for the fifth seed and could fall to the seventh seed with a loss and a Thunder win, you can’t necessarily trust Gregg Popovich to play all his veterans full minutes.

That being said, LaMarcus Aldridge ($10.0k, $9.2k) is seeing insane usage lately and could be worth deploying even though he’s struggled in three meetings with the Pelicans and superstar Anthony Davis ($11.2k, $12.0k). Davis has also been limited in those three meetings, but a herculean effort from The Brow is certainly within the realm of possibility and the 211-point Over/Under on this game indicates we could see a bit more scoring than in previous meetings.

Jrue Holiday ($8.2k, $8.5k) has averaged 20.7 PPG over three meetings with the Spurs and is cooking with averages of 17.5 PPG and 8.3 APG over his last four appearances.

Nikola Mirotic ($6.5k, $7.0k) has proven to be quite streaky with averages of 26.8 PPG  and 11.3 RPG over his last four appearances after going ice cold for a bit and he’s a decent GPP option against the Kawhi Leonard-less Spurs.

In similar fashion, Rudy Gay  ($5.1k, $5.1k) has come alive late for the Spurs and he’s a great GPP option tonight that has the upside to produce 7x.

Patty Mills ($4.6k, $4.5k) is also playing huge minutes even if he isn’t flashing too much upside and Manu Ginobili ($3.9k, $4.0k) has turned back the clock in consecutive appearances and is at least worth deploying in a few tournament lineups.

Utah Jazz (+3.5) at Portland Trailblazers (Over/Under – 201.5)

The final game of the night that comes with playoff implications is not applicable in FanDuel contests and not necessarily oozing with DFS upside given the low Over/Under in Portland.

As per usual, Damian Lillard ($8.6k – DK only) will look to carry the Blazers offense and he’s proven capable of torching the Jazz with averages of 32 PPG on 44.3 percent FG shooting in three meetings this year. Ricky Rubio (hamstring) is also a bit hobbled and that makes it easier for Lillard to get cooking.

Rubio’s limitations opens it up for Royce O’Neale ($3.8k) to see more run as a wing player and for Joe Ingles ($6.9k) and Donovan Mitchell ($8.0k) to see increases in usage.

Rudy Gobert ($7.5k) is always a good bet for a double-double and makes for a solid option on DK after getting some extra rest in a blowout win over the Lakers Sunday.

Despite Gobert’s presence, Jusuf Nurkic ($6.5k) is worth using given his recent hot streak and modest price tag. And Al-Farouq Aminu ($5.0k) is a low-upside value to consider in the mid-tier price range.

Picks in Games Without Playoff Implications:

Russell Westbrook ($11.9k, $12.3k) needs 16 rebounds tonight to average a triple-double in a second consecutive season and you can bet he’s aware of that potential milestone. The Thunder also need a win to maintain playoff positioning and can basically do whatever they want against the tanking Grizzlies.

MarShon Brooks ($6.4k, $7.5k) was cold, but still attempted 16 FGs in Monday’s loss at Minnesota, so he’s worth a look in GPP formats as the Grizzlies top offensive option.

Eric Bledsoe ($8.7k, $8.8k) could blow up in another plus spot if Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) doesn’t suit up. Ben Simmons ($10.3k, $10.3k) is another good GPP play in that game given his bold approach towards closing out the Rookie of the Year race.

Josh Hart ($6.5k) remains a decent Cash option on DK on an extremely shorthanded Lakers team.

Sindarius Thornwell ($3.9k) is a great option on DK given his huge spike in usage and playing time after Lou Williams (ankle) and Austin Rivers (elbow) were ruled out Monday.

Others to Consider: Bradley Beal, D’Angelo Russell, Jabari Parker, Steven Adams, Anthony Tolliver, Tomas Satoransky (Wall likely out), Dillon Brooks, Ivan Rabb, Montrezl Harrell, Khem Birch, Shane Larkin, Shabazz Muhammad (if Giannis is out)
